Life is always an adventure at the Wissink home! Today, we packed the kids up and headed off to Holland State Park, Holland, Michigan. We walked the pier and saw some kids catch fish, played frisbee, and enjoyed the sunshine and 90 degree temperature. Holland State Park has some Great Yahoo reviews.
The last few nights we have watched the firefly show in our back yard. Late June in Michigan is a great time for fireflies. Like twinkling Christmas lights, they display their wonders.
Keeping the kids busy and learning through every day experiences is our philosophy. To add to our managerie, my son received an antfarm for Christmas. We returned a card found in our kit to order our ants from AntWorks. After 2 weeks the package arrived in the mail. We carefully opened the package as our ants can bite and irritate the skin, so be careful. They are amazing workers and so much fun to watch!
