What is your Primary Social Media Connection?

In preparation for an upcoming webinar and presentation at an event in Las Vegas
the last weekend in March, I asked my "tweeps" (friends from Twitter.com) the following
question:

"What is your main source of social media connection. i.e. Facebook, Twitter, Squidoo, MySpace...? and WHY?"

robinmbnm  Twitter, because it's simple and I don't have to feel guilty about not returning hugs, gifts, or Easter eggs like on FB.

YourSavvyVA My main source is of course Twitter! I like that its real time! Makes interacting much more personable. :)

YourSavvyVA 2/2 I like feeling like i'm speaking with a person rather than a page!

Shesgotherown I like cafemoms, why, I'm still thinking. I have a myspace, blackplanet, a couple of ning pages, but CM is the best.

ShannonGrissom  Twitter. Short and sweet!

jake_buehler  Facebook, then Twitter. FB because lots of people I know are there and Twitter because it's FUN! Great places to connect.

JoJoTabares  I still can't figure squidoo. I like Twitter and Facebook.

AudreyMcClellan Twitter and Facebook. Hands down.

Excellent question! I like to keep things sensible, easy, and manageable. So I use Ping.fm which sends my updates out to ALL my social networks at once. If I had to narrow it down to participating in just ONE social media site, it would have to be Twitter. Micro Blogging is the way to go!

I would have to say that Twitter is my favorite Social Media Connection. Simply because of the interaction with friends, neighbors, favorite actors, musicians, NBA players, NFL players, just all the different people you can interact with on TWITTER.

Facebook to connect with people I already know and find new interesting ones. Twitter because it is fast and clean without the need to answer back or send hugs and ping when I'm buried in work, but have the urge to be heard!
